An isolated farm, the Mato Rujo Farm, where a man lives with two children, apparently a normal life.
But we are at the end of a war, and one day an old Mercedes arrives with four men. And they shoot. They shoot and kill Manuel Roca and his son. The child Nina, hidden in a trap door, escapes the carnage.
Many years after: an old lady, in a city without name. A man in his kiosk sells tickets for the lottery.
The two protagonists of the first episode, that meet again. They talk and the past returns, but without blood. A fable on violence and pain.
